SELMA RELEASE NOTES – 8th October 2025

We’ve been working hard to enhance your experience and improve the reliability of our platform. Here’s what’s new in this release.

✅ System Improvements

Visibility of Bounced Mailgun Messages

A new enhancement has been added to the Email Stats page, controlled by a configuration flag. When enabled, a “Rejected Emails” button appears, allowing users to view a list of email delivery errors.
Customers can review bounced email addresses and contact SELMA support to have them resolved in Mailgun and removed from the email_bounces table.

Default Enrolment Component Status for Level 9+ Programmes

Enrolment Component logic has been updated to support NZQCF Levels 9 &10:

  • For programmes at Level 9 or above, the default Enrolment Component status is now set to 6 – Yet to complete.
  • When auto-extension is applied, the status is updated to 7 – Extension granted or under moderation.

This ensures more accurate tracking and reporting for higher-level qualifications.

If you need additional help or have questions about these fixes, please contact the support team at 09 366 0789 or support@selma.co.nz
