SELMA RELEASE NOTES – 24th June 2025

🛠️ System Updates and Bug Fixes

This release introduces a critical bug fix to enrolment transfers and a usability enhancement for student email actions. These improvements streamline day-to-day processes and provide greater flexibility for users.

✅ System Improvements

Additional email recipients on Student email action

The Student Email Action now supports expanded recipient management:

  • CC and BCC dropdown options on a student record are now the same as those available on an enrolment.
  • Users can manually enter additional email addresses that are not in the predefined list.

This enhancement offers improved flexibility and ensures important communications can reach the right people without extra steps.

🔧 Bug Fixes

Changing Start Date but not End Date when transferring enrolment

Issue:
Previously, when transferring an enrolment to a new intake and selecting a new start date, the enrolment’s start and end dates were not updated correctly.

Fix:

When transferring an enrolment:

  • Selecting a new start date will now correctly update the enrolment’s start date.
  • The end date will automatically default to the new intake’s end date.

This ensures enrolment dates remain consistent and accurate when students are moved between intakes.
