Extraction

Extraction Screen

Start Extraction

The extraction process might take some time. Please wait until the page redirects you to the validation page.

Validation Screen

The validation rules for SELMA DXP SDR are based on the information provided by TEC. Errors and warnings may vary during the pilot testing period. Some errors and warnings might still occur after submission to the DXP portal, as SELMA might not catch all issues, such as NSN errors.

Errors and warnings are listed per file. If a file is error and warning-free, you will see a small tick next to the file name. If there are any errors or warnings, you will see the error or warning message along with the error code and resolution.

The validation page will expire after 8 hours. You can fix the errors and re-validate, or choose to generate the zip file with the errors.

DXP Portal

Please go to Data Submissions → Single Data Return → Validate New SDR (top right corner) to start a validation in DXP Portal.

You can either submit the zip file downloaded from SELMA, or compress the SELMA zip file and upload each CSV file individually.

DXP Portal Errors/Warnings

If you encounter any errors or warnings that neither you nor SELMA can resolve (e.g., NSN gender not matched, course not registered), please contact TEC(DSR) during the pilot UAT test.

If you encounter more errors on SELMA validation compared to the DXP portal error report, it’s normal. During the pilot test, TEC does not validate certain new fields. Please follow the errors in the DXP portal and use SELMA validation to help locate the records.

If you encounter any errors or warnings that appear only during the DXP Portal validation and not in the SELMA validation, and these issues can be fixed in SELMA, please contact us for further assistance.

SELMA SDR Related Fields

Indicators for SDR-related fields have been added across various SELMA pages (Components, Students, Enrolments, Enrolment Components). Please ensure that these fields are filled out whenever possible. You can click on the SDR icon for a description of the field.
