Advanced Completion Workflow

  • We have introduced a new Advanced Completion Workflow feature. This allows you to define conditions and actions that run in sequence, with multiple Completion Rules for a single Programme or Programme Component.

Microsoft 365 Email Integration

  • Enhance your SELMA instance with Microsoft 365 (MS 365) email services.
  • This integration allows you to send comms emails directly from your own email address or a designated organisational email, such as support@orgdomain.com, leveraging the full suite of MS 365 email functionalities

Link Students to Account Managers

  • Display the Account Manager column on the student screen
  • Easily take over admin responsibilities for a student with a single click
  • New filter in advance student search to show only your assigned students
  • View all allocated students under the user’s “Assigned Students” tab

Customisable Student Portal Cards

  • This new feature is implemented in the portal. You can now customise the student portal cards with ease.
  • This feature allows you to:
    • Add, remove, and deactivate cards
    • Sort cards in the student portal
    • Customise cards with your own logo, link, and colour

Enhancements

Task View

  • You can now easily view tasks assigned to you directly under the ‘My Profile’ section

Events on Student Portal

  • There is now an event section in the student portal
  • You can control which events are shown to students through the portal settings when creating an event log
  • By default, events are not visible to students

Mac Visit Event Improvement

  • Student Portal Visibility: When adding a MAC Visit event, you can now choose whether to display it in the student portal
  • Scheduled MAC Visits: MAC Visits can now be scheduled in advance and will only be submitted via API once they are marked as completed

Class Comms Improvement

  • We’ve added a search filter to help you easily narrow down the list of students for comms
  • When sending emails or text messages to students in a class, you can now quickly find and select the desired recipients

Enrolment Components Improvement

  • Colour-Coded Status: Colours have been added to status labels for easier organisation
  • Improved Component Hierarchy: Pagination has been removed, and background colours have been added to help you easily view and identify the hierarchy of components

Bulk Status Update Improvement

  • When performing a bulk update of enrolment status in intake, you can now select a completion date and propagate it to components that are not yet finished

Organisations and contacts

  • Event Logs: Event logs have been added to organisations and contacts
  • Email Functionality: You can now send emails to the account email of organisations and contacts

Other Improvements

  • Student Alumni section improvements
  • NSN for O365 Email Accounts: You now have the option to use the NSN number for creating students’ O365 email accounts

  • Use O365 email to automatically create student portal access when enrolment is created
    • Contact us to enable this feature
  • Use O365 email to automatically create Canvas access when enrolment is created
    • Contact us to enable this feature
  • Microsoft Login Available in Student Portal: You can now use Microsoft Login for student portal access
    • Contact us to enable this feature
  • A new option has been added to ‘Form Settings’. You can now automatically create student portal access if a new enrolment is created through the online enrolment form.
  • ITR Fetch Message View: A new ITR Fetch message view is available in the Enrolment edit tab
  • ITR Enrolment Completion: You can now complete an ITR enrolment if all enrolment components have ‘Finished and Completed’ status and are submitted to NZQA
  • ITR Grid Table Improvement: Enhanced searching speed and improved keyword matching in the ITR grid table
  • ITR Status Wizard Enhancement: Invalid options are removed, and reasons are displayed dynamically based on the selected status
  • Canvas Integration: Linking an enrolment to a class from the enrolment page now also creates a Canvas section, if the class is set up to create sections (see below)
  • Canvas Integration: Creating a Canvas section based on a class is now optional. Enable/disable via toggle on class
  • RoA Import Improvement: Selected students are now highlighted, and validations are added to prevent duplicate students from being included in the selection
  • Marking Update: The button ‘Marked as Completed’ is now ‘Marked as Finished.’ Completion codes 3 and 4 have been added.
  • SDR Fields Indicators: Added ‘SDR’ icons across different sections in SELMA to indicate which fields are used in SDR reporting, with help text available upon clicking

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed the issue with dates sorting in the intake/class attendance marking
  • Fixed the dates sorting bug in the student enrolment tab
  • Resolved sorting issues in the curriculum grid, class table, and intake table
  • Fixed the issue of creating duplicate components when cloning a programme
  • Fixed the error where custom fields were not inherited when creating an intake
